The mood was somber at the Salesianum School in Wilmington after students learned that one of their own was responsible for the shooting at the Los Angeles International Airport that left one TSA agent dead.

23-year old Paul Ciancia was a member of the class of 2008.

School President Brendan Kennealey told WDEL that the students were definitely more somber adding that it was hard believe that Ciancia could now face the death penalty.

The school held a prayer service yesterday morning.

Several other people were wounded.

Federal prosecutors have filed murder charges against Paul Ciancia of New Jersey as well as counts for commission of violence at an international airport.
