Wicomico High School Indians basketball team scored a record last night giving its legendary coach Butch Waller his 800th win.
He told WBOC that he was glad they had past that milestone so they could concentrate on 801.
The television state reports that the stands were filled with alumni and community members as well as parents and students who cheer on the team.
Waller said that this only adds fire to his aim at getting another state championship this year.
The team’s record is 19-to-0.
