WBOC Twitter and Website Hacked by "CyberCaliphate" Group

WBOC is reporting that their website and Twitter page this morning by an individual or group calling itself the "CyberCaliphate". Pro-Islamic State propaganda was posted on the sites. WBOC has been able to eliminate the material from its website but still has not gained control of its Twitter page. The television station has reached out to Twitter as well as contacting law enforcement authorities. The television station also reports that shortly after WBOC was hacked the Albuquerque Journal's Twitter account was also hacked. In addition, the newspaper said its website was hacked by the same group on New Year's Eve.
