WBOC is returning to radio.
The television station has bought the Princess Anne FM Station WOLC 102.5 FM.
75 years ago the television station began its life as WBOC-AM when radio was coming of age.
WOLC has been a Christian radio station called Joy!
As for format that has not yet been decided.
The station says that it will reflect the WBOC brand and that WBOC’s news, weather and sports will be a key component of the broadcasting schedule.
The station itself will move from its current Princess Anne location to the old WBOC radio facilities in Salisbury.
