IRVINGTON, Va. (AP) - The Virginia Oyster Trail is making its official debut.

Gov. Terry McAuliffe and first lady Dorothy McAuliffe will join other dignitaries in Irvington on Monday for a ribbon cutting ceremony for the trail.

Activities along the trail include waterman tours, oyster company tours, restaurants that feature the Virginia oyster, art venues and historic sites and museums.

State officials say Virginia is the largest producer of fresh, farm-raised oysters on the East Coast.
