VA & MD Governors Meet for Regional Economic Forum

WASHINGTON (AP) - The 2nd Annual Capital Region Business Forum is taking place in the nation's capital, where the governors of Maryland and Virginia will gather to talk about economic issues.

It's taking place in Washington on Wednesday.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan will join Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe and District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser to discuss economic issues impacting the Mid-Atlantic.

The event at the Washington Hilton will bring leaders together to talk about issues like transportation and the Metro, economic development and diversifying the regional economy.

The forum is being put on by the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Washington Board of Trade and Prince George's Chamber of Commerce.
