OCEAN VIEW, Del. (AP) - The Indian River School District has reassigned the two top administrators from Lord Baltimore Elementary School.

Officials placed Principal John Turssline and Assistant Principal Melissa Oates on administrative leave earlier this month, but declined to say why. Now officials say the pair has been reassigned within the district.

Turssline is now the assistant principal at G.W. Carver Center in Frankford. Oates is now an assistant principal at the Southern Delaware School of the Arts in Selbyville. Officials say the changes will take effect on Monday.

The school district is searching for a new principal for Lord Baltimore. The Board of Education will hold a special meeting next month to interview candidates.
