Twelve days after being shot by her former boyfriend Salisbury University student Kristen Loetz posted on her Facebook page that she was now out of the University of Maryland Medical Center’s R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore and has move to rehabilitation

She said that her fast recovery was because of “the love and support I have received from everyone.”

Loetz noted that she and her family had received an amazing amount of help from the community.

She was shot during an argument with her ex-boyfriend at an apartment on Onley Street.

He eventually shot her, killed a friend who tried to intervene before turning the gun on himself.

Donations for her and her family for medical expenses on a GiveForward page have surpassed $18-thousand.

A quarter auction and silent auction fundraiser is sete to be held on October 20th in her home town of Stevensville.
