fireflyfestival.com

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be headlining the second year of the Firefly Music Festival this summer.

In addition, the pioneering hip hop act Public Enemy, a 2013 Hall of Fame Inductee, will also grace the festival’s stage.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that there are 71 announced acts so far for the festival…which begins June 21st.

For the camping area organizers are considering putting in water slides and volleyball courts.

The festival is beginning a full month earlier than last time when it found itself competing with the Delaware State Fair in Harrington and WXPN’s XPoNential Music Festival in Camden, New Jersey.
