A new record has been set for the largest tiger muskie caught in Delaware topping the previous catch in 1991 of 15 pounds , 2 ounces.
The record was confirmed by Fish and Wildlife Enforcement biologists and was initially recorded by agent Sr. Cpl. Jeff Howell.
The Delaware Division of Fish and Wildlife says James Stewart used 6-pound test line with an artificial minnow to reel in the record fish.
Stewart plans to have his record tiger muskie mounted.
