Record Lows Expected

Delmarva is bracing for record lows as we head out of this week’s snow storm.

Accomack, Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset counties are looking at a wind chill warning through tomorrow.

And while today is expected to have a high of around 19 degrees tomorrow morning should see a low of 3 degrees.

There’s a possibility of some snow slurries turning into rain on Saturday night.

By Sunday the temperatures should be warming up.

Forecast

There’s a wind child advisory in effect until noon Friday.

Today, it should be sunny with some clouds in the afternoon. The highs should register around 19 degrees. Expect Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gust of up to 35 mph and wind child values as low as 4 degrees.

Tonight, it should be partly cloudy in the evening then clearing. Expect it to be windy and cold with lows around 6 above. Northwest winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts of up to 35 mph are forecast with wind chill values as low as 12 below.

Friday, it should be sunny and brisk. Highs should register around 16 degrees. Forecasters expect some west winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph and wind chill values as low as 13 degrees below by the morning.
