Rain Takes Toll on Delmarva

free-clipart.net

Much of Delaware was drenched in rain yesterday and early this morning with three inches in some locations.

The heaviest showers hit New Castle County just before 10 p.m.

By early this morning just over 3 inches had been reported in Middletown and Blackbird.

Delaware got less rain than had parts of New Jersey and the Maryland Eastern Shore.

In Queen Anne’s county ten inches hit the towns of Queenstown and Grasonville.

WBOC reported that several roads were washed out.

In some places there was four feet of water in Grasonville.
