Providing Help to Dover's Downtown Redevelopment

official photo

Revitalization of downtown Dover got a boost yesterday.

Governor Jack Markell signed a law that allows cities to get a portion of the area designated as a Downtown Development District.

The measure provides significant incentives for those investing at least $125-thousand into the district.

WMDT reports that Markell’s office said the specific requirements and benefits for the program will be provided in the coming weeks.
