Power Restored to Delmarva Power Customers

All Delmarva Power customers had their electric service restored as of Tuesday night.

Last weekend’s storm left tens of thousands without power.

Officials said that most of the customers had power back by Sunday evening but added there had been three customers still in the dark in New Castle County, as well as more than 200 Maryland customers without power, mostly in Cecil County.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that Delmarva Power has sent the 150 crews that got power restored to other Mid-Atlantic states still without power.

In all, 84,000 of Delmarva’s 500,000 customers in Delaware and Maryland lost power from the violent wind storm.
