Plans for Route 113 Bypass In Delaware Unveiled

Don Rush

The Delaware Department of Transportation has unveiled its plans for Route 113 that would bypass the towns of Millsboro, Dagsboro and Frankford.

The Delaware Department of Transportation’s proposal calls for a nearly 17-mile project that would include 6 interchanges nine overpasses and five water crossings.

But WBOC reports that there is some concern that the new project could hurt some of the local businesses.

DelDOT will be holding two meetings to get public input with the first set for September 18th at the Millsboro Civic Center and the following day at the Selbyville fire hall both beginning at 4 p.m.

However, the $839 million project is expected to be decades away.
