Pipe Drainage Project in Salisbury Set To Finish Jan. 15

Work near Isabella and Mill Streets for work to extend drainage pipes under the railroad track near the intersection is set the end on Jan. 15.

The Maryland State Highway Administration says the pipes have been laid, leaving only patching and resurfacing to be done.

The closure is the first 18-month phase of a drainage project that will improve and replace the underground piping to eliminate flooding in Newtown.
