They’re packing boxes in Sharptown.
It’s part of Operation We Care which is filling nearly 600 holiday care packages for the soldiers overseas.
Claire Williams, whose son has been deployed six times overseas, told WMDT that soldiers are used to getting packages from home.
But, she says, these tell them that people in the country appreciate them as well.
Since Operation We Care began seven years ago the number of volunteer has grown and it has allowed them to pack more than 6-thousand boxes for troops over the years.
