Ocean View Fire Leaves One Dead

A fire in Ocean View has left one person dead.

The blaze broke out on Sunday morning around 2 a.m.

When Millville Fire Company units arrived on the scene a two story house was enveloped in flames.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the firefighters were able to retrieve the body of the person who had died inside.

The fire left an estimated $25-thousand in damage.

There were no smoke alarms.

The identity of the body and the cause of death will be revealed later.
