A sports complex with 15 fields and an indoor facility will be coming soon to Kent County.
WBOC-TV reports that Delaware has agreed to provide $3.2 million in funding.
The deal was struck at the end of a meeting between The Greater Dover Committee and the Kent County Levy Court.
The economic impact is estimated to be around $18 million annually with over 300 additional jobs in the county.
Officials say the new complex will mainly host soccer, field hockey and lacrosse games with the possibility of drawing up to 10 major sports tournaments annually.
