ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - House Speaker Michael Busch has sworn in David Fraser-Hidalgo to the House of Delegates.

The speaker swore in Fraser-Hidalgo on Monday in the House chamber in Annapolis.

The new delegate will represent District 15 in Montgomery County. He replaces Brian Feldman, who was appointed to the state Senate last month.

Fraser-Hidalgo was a Montgomery County police officer before moving to the private sector. He currently works as area sales director for Regus, a global provider of small and midsize business support.

Fraser-Hidalgo, a 44-year-old Democrat, was vice president of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for Montgomery County. He also was vice president of Boyds Civic Association.
