Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, delawareestuary.org

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Officials with the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary are releasing an update on the health of the Delaware River estuary.

The report to be released Thursday is a scientific assessment of the tidal Delaware River and Bay, as well as the land draining to them through waterways like the Christina River in coastal Delaware, southern New Jersey and southeastern Pennsylvania.

The partnership last published its "State of the Estuary Report" in 2008.
