FREDERICK, Md. (AP) - A player for the Frederick Keys baseball team will be featured in a radio ad to urge Maryland residents to enroll in health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.

Maryland Health Care for All and the Frederick Keys are announcing the ad campaign on Thursday at the Keys' stadium in Frederick.

The ad will feature Adrian Marin, the minor league team's shortstop.

The new radio ad campaign will be in English and Spanish.

The second open enrollment period began last month. It ends Feb. 15.

Delaware

DOVER, Del. (AP) - The state health care commission is getting an update on second-year implementation of the national health care law in Delaware.

The Delaware Health Care Commission will be updated Thursday on enrollment in Delaware's health insurance exchange under the Affordable Care Act.

Last year, state officials focused on encouraging people to sign up for insurance.

This year, officials say the main message is that people who don't sign up will have to pay a penalty.

State officials had hoped to enroll 35,000 of the estimated 90,000 uninsured residents in private insurance plans in the first year of Delaware's new health care exchange. The final enrollment was about 14,400, less than half of the state's goal but well above a federal government target of 8,000.
