Marylanders Hit the Road for Labor Day Holiday

Don Rush

AAA Mid-Atlantic expects 733-thousand Marylanders to be traveling this Labor Day weekend.

That’s less than a half a percent increase for those planning on traveling on the last holiday of the summer season.

The motor club says that the small increase can be attributed to the late date of the holiday which falls on September 7th.

Nationally, 35.5 million Americans are expected to travel Thursday through Monday.
