The Lewes Presbyterian Church has opened its doors yesterday to around 15-hundred people to celebrate an early Thanksgiving.
There was nearly 600-pounds of turkey and more than 200 pies along with other fixings.
WBOC says that the meal was not only for feeding those who are in-need but to bring together the community.
There was also a take-out section to reach beyond the walls of the church and get the meals to others who could make it to the church.
