Council member LaVerne Johnson was re-elected with 216 votes in Crisfield yesterday.
But WBOC reports that the other contest on the city council was too close to call.
In that race the pastor of a local church Barbara Ward was ahead with 157 votes to Karen Lawson who had 150.
Irving Saltz trailed with 18 votes.
There are 15 provisional ballots still let to be counted this afternoon.
