PENNSVILLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - Another lane has reopened during emergency repairs on the Delaware Memorial Bridge, easing traffic congestion.

However, two left lanes remain closed on the southbound span and the speed limit has been reduced to 35 mph. All truck traffic is restricted to the right lane.

Motorists heading south on the New Jersey Turnpike and Interstate 295 faced significant delays Wednesday when construction crews closed four lanes as they started replacing three suspension ropes on the Delaware-bound span that links New Jersey with Delaware.

Officials say delays are still possible.
