Korean War Memorial Opens in Dover

US Government

The Veterans Memorial Park in Dover was unveiled yesterday to mark the 61st anniversary of the end of that war.

To help fund the memorial WBOC reports that the Vietnam Veterans of America will continue selling bricks where the names of individuals or even businesses appear to express their support.

George Guss was among the surviving veterans who attended the unveiling.

He told WBOC that he was glad to see a memorial erected in the state’s capital.
