Inmate Death at Delaware Correctrions Center

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - A 38-year-old inmate has died at a Delaware corrections center.

A Department of Corrections spokesman told The Wilmington News Journalother offenders found Charles Williams unresponsive in bed Saturday morning at Plummer Community Corrections Center in Wilmington.

Correction staff called 911 but Williams was declared dead. His body has been turned over to the state to determine cause of death.

Williams arrived at Plummer Center April 22 after violating probation on a 2013 firearm conviction.

Delaware State Police are investigating his death.
