DOVER, Del. (AP) - Governor-elect John Carney has tapped a former top aide to serve as his chief of staff in the governor's office.
Carney's campaign said Wednesday that Doug Gramiak will lead Carney's gubernatorial staff.
Gramiak, who currently works as a lobbyist, was Carney's chief of staff in the lieutenant governor's office from 2001 to 2009. He then served as Carney's state director from 2011 to 2014 after Carney was elected to Congress.
Carney also announced that Sheila Grant, chief of staff in his Washington congressional office, will serve as deputy chief of staff in the governor's office.
