Governor Martin O’Malley went party crashing in Tampa yesterday.
The Maryland Democrat showed up in a surprise visit as part of his party’s rapid-response center in the Florida enclave.
He slammed the GOP’s presidential standard bearer predicting that Mitt Romney’s economic plans would spell disaster for the middle class.
O’Malley took aim at Romney’s background as a corporate buyout specialist saying that the lessons the nominee learned should not be applied to a national economy.
O’Malley is chair of the Democratic Governors Association which has taken on a prominent role in this year’s campaign.
