Salisbury University's Institute of Public Affairs and Civic Engagement (PACE) hosted a forum for civil discourse, “Affecting Change in a Political World,” 7 p.m. Monday, February 27, in Perdue Hall’s Bennett Family Auditorium.
Panelists included Vincent DeMarco, executive director of the Maryland Citizens Health Initiative; Michele Hughes, executive director of the Life Crisis Center; Dr. Adam Hoffman, director of PACE; and Mike Pretl, chairman of the Wicomico Neighborhood Congress. They discussed what residents may do to become active participants in their communities.
