Firefly Music Festival Brings Thousands to Dover

The Firefly Music Festival rolled through Dover this weekend attended by around 30-thousand fans.

As the festival closed out Wayne Coyne, the lead singer of the The Flaming Lips, told the crowd, “This is a really special thing you’ve got here.”

But will it be back?

Lauren Shield with the festival planned by Chicago’s Red Frog Events told the Wilmington News Journal, “No confirmation, but we’ve had  a good year."

The sun final set yesterday with the Black Keys giving the final performance of the weekend.

The musicians and band then disappeared as the construction crews took down the stages.
