The former US Women’s Soccer Team player Tisha Venturini-Hoch is coming to the Lower Eastern Shore next month.

She will be serving up beers and making cocktails. It’s part of a fundraising effort at Brew River restaurant to raise money for Team Keller.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that last October they raise $7-thousand for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through a golf tournament.

Venturini was a midfielder for the national team that won the gold medal at the 1996 Olympics and the World Cup in 1999.

Her appearance comes just as the US. Women’s Soccer Team won the world cup this month.
