Electric Car Charging Stations at Cape May-Lewes Ferry

Cape May-Lewes Ferry website

LEWES, Del. (AP) - Two free electric charging stations for electric cars will be installed at the Lewes terminal of the Cape May-Lewes Ferry.

The Delaware River and Bay Authority says the stations will be in the public parking lot near the terminal building.

WDEL reports that the charging stations are part of a collaborative research agreement with the University of Delaware and the Delaware Department of Natural Resources. The researchers will monitor the use of the charging stations and report to the DRBA.
