Dualization on Route 404 Begins Next Year

creative commons

The dualization of Route 404 between Denton and Route 50 should be completed by Thanksgiving of 2017.

That’s the schedule for work on a road that has seen a number of accidents and is one of the busiest during the summer season.

Local officials tell WBOC that the work cannot be completed soon enough.

Construction of the 11 miles segment of highway is set to start in the fall of next year at a cost of $170 million.
