OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) - Police say a Maryland man has been charged with drunken driving after hitting a Pennsylvania man with his car, killing him.

The Ocean City Police Department says 23-year-old James Ednie of Kelton, Pennsylvania was crossing Coastal Highway near an intersection early Sunday when he was hit. Police say he was not using the crosswalk. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police identified the driver as 50-year-old Stanley Faison of Waldorf. Police say he has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and other traffic-related charges.

Online court records did not show an attorney for Faison on Sunday.
