DeShawn Darling Arrested After Three County Police Chase

Deshawn Darling led police on a three county chase yesterday before they took him into custody at the AutoZone on Route 13 in Salisbury.

It took around 45 minutes to catch him as police chased him from his home on Pryor Avenue in Salisbury in a dodge van beginning at around 9:15 a.m.

Police say Darling rammed an unmarked Maryland State Police vehicle and led officers through Somerset and Worcester counties before returning to Salisbury.

The 38 –year old Darling was wanted in Dorchester County for a 1999 probation violation for possessing a deadly weapon and in Delaware for drug manufacturing among other charges.

He now faces additional assault charges.
