ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Maryland Democratic congressional candidate Wendy Rosen has withdrawn her candidacy after the state's Democratic Party says she voted in Maryland and Florida in the 2006 general election.

Rosen told The Associated Press in a brief phone interview on Monday that she is withdrawing from her race against Republican Rep. Andy Harris.

In a letter to the state's attorney general, the chair of the Maryland Democratic Party says Rosen has been registered to vote in both Florida and Maryland since at least 2006.

Yvette Lewis, the party chair, also noted that Rosen voted in the presidential primaries in both Florida and Maryland in 2008.
