centers for disease control

Although there is no immediate threat hospitals on Delmarva are gearing up to deal with Ebola.

Kent General Hospital in Dover says it is creating a training video that shows how to use their in-house equipment and is also conducting drills in how to interact with patients.

Meanwhile, the emergency management at Beebe Medical Center in Sussex County told WBOC that they are phasing in screenings at the their satellite facilities and are taking steps to protect the staff.

All major hospitals are making more efforts to screen new patients as they arrive at the door.
