gallup.com

A Gallops Well-Being survey found that a third of Delawareans are considered obese ranking it third in the nation.

It came only behind West Virginia and Mississippi.

Meanwhile, in Maryland 24.9 percent of those surveyed were considered to be obese.

Nationally, of those surveyed 27% of Americans were found to be obese.

That has inched up from when Gallup first carried out the survey in 2008 when 25 percent of Americans were considered obese.
