Delaware Post-Employment Restriction Violation Case

Public Integrity Commission Website

DOVER, Del. (AP) - The Delaware Public Integrity Commission is considering whether a former state employee who the commission believes accepted a job in violation of post-employment restrictions should be referred to the attorney general's office for prosecution.

Because of secrecy rules that govern the commission's operations, the identity of the former employee is not known.

The case will be discussed behind closed doors Tuesday in Dover, along with several other confidential requests by state employees for advisory opinions or waivers.

Those cases mostly involve state employees working or wanting to work for agency contractors or private businesses. Another case involves a potential conflict of interest regarding a state agency contracting with a business that is owned by a manager's son.
