Crisfield Shuts Down Clothing Relief Center

clothing donation, 123rf.com

Crisfield Church of God has suspended its used clothing collection area.

In addition, hurricane victims are no longer being referred to the church for help.

Immanuel United Methodist Church on Main Street will continue to take in food donations and is accepting any donations of cleaning supplies or heaters.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports…that monetary donations can be made at any PNC Bank location…online, or by mail.

The address is Crisfield Relief Fund, PO Box 293, Crisfield, MD 21817.

The paper reports that money is preferred because it enables the relief committee to meet the needs of residents and also allows an economic recovery through local spending.
