Despite the recent defeats of Tea Party candidates in recent Republican primaries Christine O’Donnell who also lost her bid for a senate seat in Delaware declared victory.
She said the Tea Party movement had clearly driven the moderate Republican into extinction and has made the federal deficit and debt part of the national dialogue.
She told the Wilmington News Journal she believed the movement had been very successful.
As for a rematch with Senator Chris Coons…who beat in the 2010 general election she replied, “highly unlikely.”
