Car Crash Kills NASA Wallops Firefighter

A firefighter with NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility was killed in a car crash yesterday morning near Stockton Maryland.  

Maryland State Police say it occurred around 3 a.m. when 26-yawer old Justin Lewis ran off the road on Route 12.

His car hit a tree and then overturned.

He was not wearing a seat belt.

The accident remains under investigation.

This is the second death to hit the rocket launching facility this week.

On Sunday the body of a 43 year old Tiffany Moisan, a research scientist at the facility, was found outside a Food Lion in Princess Anne.

There were no signs of apparent foul play.
