The body of Jacob Marberger was found by Pennsylvania police after the Washington College student went missing.
WBOC reports that his death has been ruled a suicide.
His family became concerned after he came home from school and left with a gun.
With his disappearance Washington College closed its campus through the Thanksgiving holiday as a precaution.
Police said that Marberger’s death appeared to be from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Washington College issued a statement on their Facebook said his death was a “terrible blow to our community.”
His body was found at Hawk Mountain Sanctuary along with the Land Rover his parents said he left home in.
