TOWSON, Md. (AP) - A conference at Towson University is focusing on the economic impact of Maryland's craft brewing industry.

The event Monday is the annual outlook conference sponsored by the school's Regional Economic Studies Institute.

The program includes a keynote address from the chief economist of the National Beer Wholesalers Association.

Also on tap is a discussion on whether craft beer is a passing fad or a resilient economic development tool.
