35 MPH Speed Limit for Virginia's Unpaved Roads

all-free-download.com

If you’re driving on unpaved roads in Virginia the speed limit is now 35 mph.

It had been 55 mph.

Garrett Moore, Chief Engineer for the Virginia Department of Transportation, said that 35 mph. was a reasonable and safe speed limit for unpaved roads.

However, the state will not be posting any speed limit signs on unpaved roads.

Instead, the Transportation Department is hoping to educate drivers on the new limit.
