ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley spent part of his Memorial Day strumming a banjo as a street musician in Annapolis.

Photos of the governor playing a six-string banjo emerged Monday on the Twitter account for the blog Eye on Annapolis. O'Malley's Twitter account later posted the photo along with the words "I love that as governor of MD I can still play street music in Annapolis." In the photo O'Malley is wearing a Baltimore Ravens T-shirt, cargo shorts and flip-flops. He seems to be accepting tips in his banjo case.

Demands for Resignations in Wake of Priest Sex Abuse Documents

 

            The victims of priest sex abuse are calling on Catholic Church leaders in Wilmington…to quit…in light of records documenting how the Wilmington diocese handled pedophile priests.

            These officials include vicar general J. Thomas Cini….as well as Joseph Rebman and Clement Lemon…who are called the architects of the cover up. 

            In addition…the victims advocates called for Bishop Francis Malooly…to publicly address the complicity of his predecessors Michael Saltarelli and Robert Mulvee in the sex abuse scandal.

Demands for Resignations of Wilmington diocese in Sex Abuse Scandal

 

       WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Victims of priest sex abuse are calling on Catholic church leaders in Wilmington to resign in light of church records documenting how the Wilmington diocese handled pedophile priests.

     Abuse victims obtained the church records as part of a

settlement in the diocese's bankruptcy case.

     Abuse victims scheduled a news conference Wednesday afternoon in Wilmington to announce that the documents will be posted online by the watchdog group BishopAccountability.org.
