Waterkeepers Alliance Won't Appeal Ruling in Hudson Case

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - A New York-based environmental group that sued Perdue Farms and an Eastern Shore contract grower says it won't appeal a federal judge's ruling in a poultry pollution case.

Maryland Law Clinic in Eastern Shore Pollution Case Gets ABA Award

BALTIMORE (AP) - The University of Maryland says an environmental law clinic suing Perdue and an Eastern Shore poultry grower over farm runoff is being awarded for its work.

The university says the Environmental Law Clinic at the Carey School of Law will receive the award from the American Bar Association in August. The association gives the annual award to an individual or organization for leadership and contributions to environmental protection and sustainable development.
