Delaware Election Commissioner Elaine Manlove says she will be rewriting the rules for access to voter information.

The move comes after anger from Delaware voters over a request by the Presidential Advisory Commission on Election for a large amount of voter data including the last four digits of their social security numbers.

Manlove said that her office will still provide information to political parties and candidates.

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - New Castle County officials are launching an effort to improve government transparency for area residents.

County Executive Matthew Meyer was scheduled to join board members of the Delaware Coalition For Open Government and other advocates on Monday to launch an interactive government transparency website.

Officials say the new website is the most comprehensive open-government initiative ever undertaken by county government.

DOVER, Del. (AP) - A task force studying the feasibility of increasing public access to Family Court proceedings in Delaware is continuing its work as a February deadline for submitting a report approaches.

Members of the task force were scheduled to meet in Dover on Tuesday, and again in early December.

The Family Court has jurisdiction over all domestic relations, juvenile delinquency and intra-family misdemeanors.
